The Ekka Excursion

Yesterday we went to the Ekka opening day. We travelled by train and when we arrived we had morning tea. We then went to see the cattle - I didn't want to stay long as the smell was not good. Next we went to the see the meat hall, we saw lots of beef & lamb hanging up in a big glass cabinet. We then went through the science pavilion and saw bones from a dinosaur they found in Queensland - it was very cool. After that we went into the government pavilion & then the produce pavilion - there was lots of fruit and vegetables on display, we also tasted some honey. And had an real orange juice ice block. We then went to see some animals: goats, lambs, horses and lamas. It was then time for lunch and then we got to buy a show bags and then it was time to get the train home again.
